I thought the reason they were having the Super Bowl in Jacksonville this year was because they wanted to test out those 40,000 stadium seats nobody's ever used. At least THAT game will sell out--2 other cities will send fans there to handle that.

Yeah, OK...Forget about the league-leading Vikings offense that committed 5 false starts in that same stadium. I'm sure your 25th-ranked rushing attack compares favorably with the team that's outscoring you by an average of 10 points a game.

It was a last second touchdown against the Bills. Geez Jack, you need to get your stats right. Jaguars are more of holding team than a false start team. Also 90% of shotguns aren't called "hut, hut"... That is why you always see a QB bob his leg seconds before the snap. But you knew that right Jack.

It isn't like we have seen the Raiders hike a ball into Kerry Collins face in the shotgun or Culpepper calling time-outs from the shotgun and coming back in with an under center play or anything. Guess those most have been the 10% of shotgun plays where the QB wasn't doing the hokey pokey.

All I can say is that I live in Orlando, and I pay $174 to see all my Texans games. Somehow the only games that have been "blacked out" in two years were played in Jax. I pray that the Jax crowd will fill it out the last week of the season.

The stadium is very loud. However, I think it has more to do with the design of the stadium than it does the fans. Texan fans aren't that special, I don't think. Usually, the stadium is only about half full for the start of the noon games.. Also, where I sat during the Oakland game, the entire section of fans sat on their butts the entire game. I know it's a very different atmosphere in the Bull Pen but as a whole, our fans are on par with the majority of the league. Fortunately, our stadium is awesome!!

To avoid TV blackouts for the Detroit and Tennessee games, the Jaguars would have to sell approximately 12,500 tickets for Detroit and about 11,500 for Tennessee. That's not to sell out; that's to avoid blackout. That's a lot of tickets.

I don't know, man, the Astrodome used to be called the House of Pain! Partly due to the Glanville-style of play, but also because it was so loud!

And if Texans fans aren't that special, then why did Shawn Salisbury of ESPN say that Reliant is quickly becoming one of the toughest places to play in the NFL due to crowd noise?

Why did we lead the league in opposing team "mishaps" (Casserly's words) in the NFL...a lead, I might add, that was a 2:1 ratio over the second place crowd in those statistics.

No, Texans fans ARE special! And we will show it again this Sunday!

Actually, that would be less then 10,000, both games, the Jags would have to sell there junior. The Jags will sell that, and then some, with no problem. Too bad the Jags have an actual fan base that shows up, and not some PSL owners to help them out.

Oh one other point to be made, the Jags have at this point in time, more tickets sold to both games, even without selling another 10k, then what the Texans will sell in any game this season.

Hey double, the last time the Jags were in the Astro dome, or 'The house of pain' as you called it, it was so loud, that Mark Brunell had to whisper the plays to his team mates. I should say he was so loud, the stadium itself you could hear a pin drop in.
