Everyone is talking about our first day, but how about our late rounds? We need a pass rusher to go opposite of Mario and it looks unlikely that we're gonna use a first day pick on a DE. Who do you guys like in the 2nd day that you think can be the next Mark Anderson?
Currently, im pretty high on Jay Moore from Nebraska. I'd use a 5th or 6th on him if available.

I was looking at a list and he was about 10 for DEs but he plays pretty good . OK ... I found a guy . Jacob Ford DE 6'4 at 250 lbs with 19 reps and a 4.6 40 yd dash . Played at central Arkansas

ok i'm completely biased on this but if you want a diamond in the rough i'm going to tell you a name...keyunta dawson from texas tech
Dawson (6-1 1/8, 272), a second-team all-Big 12 choice last season, pulled his hamstring while running the 40 in 4.72 seconds. He also had a 33½-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-6 broad jump. he pulled his hamstring while running a 4.72...he's probably closer to a 4.6 40 guy...the guy was so athletic we tried him at outside linebacker in certain situations...we had a blitz package just for him at the OLB position...he was heavily doubled teamed this year so his sack total wasn't as great as it could have been the guy is a classic high motor...blue collar type guy...and another thing is that when he got to tech he weighed in at 220lbs...he's a weight room rat...solid work ethic for another guy justin hickman from UCLA did a great job last year

Yeah, thats the guy. I was too lazy to look up the correct spelling. There are a ton of pure pass rushers this year. 1st round guys with Adams and Anderson, 2nd round guys like Moss. Another late rounder to look for is Crowder.

might come from a small school/program like North Carolina Central, Greg Peterson 6047 286 4.73
or project a pass rushing OLB/DE. remember Justin Hickman, UCLA thrashed USC gave their big LT (Sam Baker) fits too he's smaller @ 6020 254 4.75 but has great pass rushing moves. second nationally with 1.14 quarterback sacks per game (12.5 total) and fifth (tied) in tackles for loss (1.68 - 18.5 total). He ranks first in the Pac-10 in both sacks and tackles for losses.

Jacob Ford, 6-4, 250, and the kid from Nebraska, Jay Moore,6-5 276 are more 3-4 tweener guys. Moore was productive in his game. Can't remember if it was the East-West, Shriners or the Sr. Bowl. Like Hickman too Beerlover. I was kinda disapointed in his forty time.

well remember with guys like hickman 40 times mean nothing...it's the 10 yard times that need to be looked at...can he explode off the line to get past the tackle...i believe hickman can...i know dawson can...moore not so much but he has the high motor to keep him going...crowder was mentioned but he'll get picked up late 2nd round early 3rd...bazuin is a 5th rounder...and there is a ton of guys not listed on nfldraftcountdown.com...i'll try and find you guys a list of other DE's that will be available in the draft...i have to re-find this website that had a ton more prospects on it
