Besides the obvious talent brought to Special Teams, does he really have the upside that warrants a top ten pick?
He is not a great reciever by any means, he's versatile and an amazing athlete and all that, but he's hands aren't great. If we want an immediate step up, would he actually be the guy?

my whole thing about that is...why not trade down in the 1st to get Robert Meachen and some extra picks? Draft Daymeion Hughes in the 3rd round and Blalock in the 2nd. Depth at guard is an issue that is seemingly getting overlooked here.

Ginn is a great athlete..you always hate to see a guy like that have ankle injuries...i wanna see what mathis can do full time! here's an idea....if we have both Draft Ginn. Let Mathis be injured the 1st half of the season and Ginn return the kicks. Then at midseason...Mathis gets healed and returns for us and Ginn has an ankle injury...that way we always have a good KR/PR!!! lol does it work like that?

IF anyone is going to fall this draft it's going to be Ginn. The injury to his leg didn't help his stock and i'm not sure people are 100% sold on him asa WR. Dude could be the next Steve Smith or Dante Hall.
What helps him however, is how posh small, fast receivers are becoming.

People might look at him as a "Devin Hester".

the kid is blazin fast...i just wonder how he would fit into the WCO...remember it's not just the player it's how do they fit into the scheme...i personally think the best WR for us in round one would be dwayne bowe out of LSU...they ran a similiar offense to what we will be running here...he's big..physical...runs a 4.44...a little inconsistant but all he has to do is work on his timing and i think that'll be fixed...plus schaub can't throw has hard as russell so that'll help him out as well
