Houston trades #10th overall selection (1300 points)
to Denver for #21 overall (800), #56 overall (340), #86 overall(160) Okoye, Carriker, Willis, Adams, Anderson have all got to be at the top of Denver's draftboard and it's a fair deal in terms of draft value points. IN ADDITION, send David Carr and #56 (340) to Miami for #40 (500) Carr is basically deemed a mid-late 3rd round pick........ it could happen. With the trades comes a mock draft: 1st #21 - Darrelle Revis CB 2nd #40 - Brandon Meriweather S 3rd #73 - Rufus Alexander LB #86 - Brandon Mebane DT 4th #103 - Doug Free OT 5th #134 - David Ball WR 6th #168 - Kevin Boss TE 7th #199 - Justin Medlock K Last edited by rollinstone18; 03-22-2007 at 02:12 AM. |

not bad all in all, i'd definitly love to trade down and pick up some picks.
Denver wouldn't give that much up. If anything they do something like we did today..actually probably the EXACT same thing. Swap 1st round picks 2007 2nd round pick 2008 2nd round pick no team is going to trade their entire 1st day in one year.

boy if the Texans don't grab a WR to give this Schaub kid another target & free up AJ I'd really be surprised. the Texans have to position themselves for Anthony Gonzalez his game is taylor made for the next level his cutting ability, route running combined with the attitude, smarts & cut blocking would be essential for Kubiaks offense to flourish.
overall I like your idea & picks especially that Boss kid, he's another Owen Daniels yet more expolsive

This is a very real posibility and something I wouldn't mind happening. We could also trade with New England for both of there 1st round picks since they really don't want to tender 2 1st rounder's this year IMO.

a trade with new england looks more and more like a possibility now...we the two picks in the 1st round we could grab the last FS in the first round and maybe a WR...then grab the top corner available in round 3

This would be excellent.. our defense would become one to be dealt with. We would need to have some more free agent acquisitions though.

IMO, nothing has happened to make a trade with NE any more possible than it has been, or any more possible than a trade with another team...

if we moved down to 21 that would be a good time to draft sidney rice.

Honestly I am not sure where lineman will go, after the first two and since we no longer are at the top of the second. I just want to make sure that the team has no reason to make any excuses about not trying to make sure the line is set.
Beerlover, ND has a pro day tomorrow or sat I forget the day and depending on what he runs where do you think Rehma McKnight will go? He has decent size and could be a very good possesion reciever.
