I am a South Carolina Fan, and I am surprised that Fred Bennett has not be mentioned in quite a while. Here are a few other lesser know CBs who could be very good for us or some other team who picks them.
Tarrel Brown, Texas Duane Coleman, Clemson Ryan Smith, Florida These players were mentioned as very good before, but they seem to have fallen off some people's radar. Feel free to add more names or positions to this list |

A couple of guys who didn't get combine invites, but should have:
Marcus Hamilton - CB - Virginia - 4 year starter in the ACC with 15 career interceptions. 5th year Senior who is currently in graduate school. ![]() Will Gulley - FS- Houston - 5th year Senior who led team in tackles, interceptions, forced fumbles, and fumble recoveries. Listed at 6'3" 220 lbs, Gulley is a big hitter from the safety position. Missed entire 2005 season with knee injury. Depending on his workout on 3/23, may be looked at as a 'Will' Lb in a Tampa 2 type defense.

Fred Bennett came out of South Carolina which has been a DB factory since 2000. He excells in knocking the ball away from the receiver, but he only had a limited number of interceptions this year.

I was expecting, and still am to an extent, for Bennett to shoot up the boards much like the other SC CB's to come out in recent years, including Daunta. They all time well and have good measurables.

Also, Travarious Bain is another CB flying under the radar.

Might of been a function of Bennet not having a lot of help back there. they want him he'll be there in the third round. Will agree that there is a herd of sub 4.4 guys in this class. They want to upgrade team speed this is the year to do it.

Bennett became a leader this year, and IMO he is much better than McFaggins.
