I find that odd, since their second year QB(3rd round??) performed as well as our 1st overall in his second year as a starter. Actually Frye performed better.

lol every team needs a franchise everything this thread is kinda useless...frye is still young (25) methinks cleveland keeps him for at least another year and with the first pick next year they will get Booty/Brohm

The problem I see with that, is if they feel that they do not have the Franchise QB now. They are in a position now to get that franchise QB. Hopefully, you'll be drafting much lower in the future, and it'll cost too much to move up for a franchise guy.

Kinda like the situation we are in now.

Chances are better than good, that you'll miss on that guy(again, see the Houston Texans)... but you definitely won't hit the target, if you don't take a shot at it.

DE's, LT's, also pretty hard to come by. But if you're playing a 3-4, forget DE. If you've just signed a young LT with no health issues... forget LT.


I'm with you, I don't think the Browns need a QB, But they gotta draft somebody.. maybe they have their eye on that Safety Phenom... Landry.
