Lawrence Phillips has to be on top of this list. He makes Pac-Man look like a boy scout. He's facing jail time cause he tried to run over some kids cause they beat him at flag football. He pawned his national championsip ring for $30 bucks cause he needed drug money and on and on and on.

I'm gonna be hated for this one...Vince Young. I'll admit that he's got speed and can throw it. But he's not even close to the brightest crayon in the box. Time will tell on this one.

these are two great choices, and IMHO, when it comes to NFL players, Phillips takes the cake. If we go with other sports, Mike Tyson has to be ranked up there pretty high.

That's true in the sense that Tyson's bad decisions cut short his career, but the guy was absolutely on top of the sport for a little while at least. Contrast that to Clarett and Phillips who never really made it to the top. However, perhaps that Tyson was on top of his game makes his fall even more spectacular. Good nominee.
