i don't know who they were trying to trade but now that he is a free agent shouldn't we be going after him? Now we don't have to give anything up for him. Him with greenwood, demeco would be a great line backing crew, maybe one of the best in the league.

He's best off going to a 3-4 team, but I wouldn't of minded at least seeing what would happen if we got him. I would however like to know what we offered.

I wonder if Porter himself nixed a trade to Houston - something like Plummer (almost) did to Tampa Bay. I get the impression of the Pittsburgh ownership is that they'd be the type who might honor a player's request, even at a slight cost to the franchise.
