I have not seen anything stating what he ran and the rest of the statistics. Also, how about Lynch?

In the Broad Jump, Peterson finished tied for 1st with Chris Henry with a 10' 7" jump. Lynch tied for 3rd with Ramonce Taylor with a 10' 5" jump. In the Vertical Jump, Peterson was 2nd with a 38.5" jump. Lynch tied for 9th with a 35.5" jump. I don't know where they finished in the other things. please don't compare Peterson with Chris Henry...as far as hey the stats are similar.
Peterson will be awesome...it's too bad he's going to the browns, if not I really hope we draft him.. what did he benchpress?

Now the NFLDraftcountdown website (which I also view a lot and rate it one of the best), has Peterson & Lynch going 4.40 & 4.46 respectively. In other words, Peterson didn't go sub 4.4 and Lynch was not that far behind which puts an entirely different spin on their 40s from what was origionally reported. We really need a single, official source to restore cred to these numbers coming out of Indy. |

I agree, that would be awesome to have a credible, single source to go to for combine info.

Either way, I wouldn't mind being able to trade down a couple spots to land Marshawn Lynch if Peterson isn't there for us.

I hate seeing all this or hearing on the radio that everyone wants AP at #8. I wish they would say either trade up or hope he falls to us but other than that he will not be there. Browns love the guy and rightly so, he is a bad *****

I would not trade up wither what i was saying was that that would be the only way we could get him. I think we have to many shoes to fill so we dont need to trade up

I think the first timing numbers that came out were not the official ones, but the latter were. That's why they were off a bit.

i think the browns are going to have a hard decision to make. with the reports that Oakland is trying to trade Moss leads me to believe that they are strongly considering taking CJ at 1, which would leave the browns with picking between Jamarcus and AD. honestly, i think they would take Jamarcus. The possibility that AD makes it all the way down to us at 8 is small, it could happen.

Browns are the only threat to selecting AP unless some one trades up for him. Rightfully if Browns pass on him then he should land at #8 to us.
We have too many holes right now to even think about trading up for AP, reality is we need as many draft picks as possible to fill some of the obvious holes which we have on the team. If AP is selected ahead of us then I really like to see us draft Branch or Okoye #8 if they are available or just trade down a few spots and picks up as many draft picks as we can. |
