only if Ryan Kalil and all the top rated corner backs are off the board.

i'm not sure. it would depend on what we do with our first pick. I want one of our first two picks to be defense.

It could be a possibility, but like Texas Thrill said, I would like one of those first two picks to be defense.

Looks like no chance of AP at #8 but there are so many second tier backs I would prefer to wait until at least the third. Irons, Pittman or Walker might all be available. I just took a quick look and saw one top twenty draft pick in the top ten rushers of 2006. It is simply the one position where you should be able to find a good back in the third or fourth. Looks like Brown will be there at 8 now since Zona would be wise to draft Andersen and Levi was slow today. Funny to see people say he might fall to 20 since he ran a slow 40. HELLO HE IS A LINEMAN. This draft seems deep with most positions except the secondary so I would say hold out and get RB value later on. I would be more inclined to take Sidney Rice or Gonzales in the second if either were there. Both those guys are going to end up being solid values IMO.

The point of it is though and I think your guy could be Kubiaks " play maker" guy because he adds a peice to the puzzle. But there are Kubiak's playmaker guys all over the board at WR and RB. Personally I like Higgens and Davis in the third. I like going BPA with the 2. Doubt Kalil will be there, but you never know. Maybe a FS/CB guy,LB guy, but I won't dismiss out of hand another RB that brings a different skill set to that of what we already have on the roster.

I am opposed to a RB or QB first day.
I want to see us go OL and DB first day. I see those as being our biggest needs, perhaps if we get an extra first day pick somehow I would go for our guy.
