Wed, 21 Feb 2007 21:05:27 -0800 Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports Atlanta Falcons DE Patrick Kerney will wait until Feb. 23 to void the final two years of his contract. By waiting until then, Kerney will pass the deadline for teams to use the franchise tag or transition tag on upcoming free agents. No player under contract can be tagged, making sure he will be a free agent this offseason. |
