Mayock is high on three players from Hampton: defensive back Travarous Bain, running back Alonzo Coleman and linebacker Justin Durant. The Sporting News said to keep an eye on Lane wide receiver Jacoby Jones, who stood out in the East-West Shrine Game as fast and tough.
The magazine also gave high ratings to New Hampshire cornerback Corey Graham, Missouri Western tight end Gijon Robinson, Missouri Southern offensive tackle Allen Barbre and Washburn defensive tackle Trey Lewis. Another player who will try to improve his stock at the combine is David Ball, a Wildcats teammate of Graham. The wide receiver broke Jerry Rice's Division I-AA record for touchdown catches in a career with 58. And two former big-time quarterbacks - Idaho State's Matt Gutierrez and Montana's Josh Swogger - will try to gain notice after transferring from Michigan and Washington State, respectively. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/f...orts-headlines

I've been high on Bain for a while.

I believe Jacoby Jones has the physical tools neccesary to do well in the NFL. What remains to be seen is how hard he is willing to work to improve in the aspects of his play that needs to improve. If he is determined and works hard he could be a great NFL reciever. He is 6ft 4in 210lbs and should run the 40 in 4.45s or less at the combine.

Yea, it makes sense. But some of them can do well, if given the chance. Bain should be looked at, and definately a few others as well.

id rather take a chance on corey graham. better size at 6'1 190lbs and check out his production. 100+ tackles his soph and junior years (broke something his senior year and only played 7 games). runs 4.5 40yd or better and has good ballskills (31 PBU and 12 INT in 42 career games). bain will probably go somewhere in the middle-lower 3rd. we could probably get graham in the 5th.

Jacoby Jones would make a nice compliment to AJ. He's 6'4" 210lbs. & runs a 4.45 40 yard dash. He's been durable, consistent, & has shown improvement every year. His stats are not eye popping, but it's not like Lane has a lot of blue chip QB's throwing him the ball. We should be able to pick him up in the 5th-7th round.
