Convicted of brokering a drug deal + nagging ankle issues + glorified Ron Dayne= snowball's chance.
He'll be a nice #2 back for somebody as more and more teams go to the two-feature back plan. Heck, even LT gave 80 carries to his backup. It's the way of the future, a way to better protect RB investments, diversify risk, and keep your horse fresh for crucial moments. The rare situation where optimal onfield performance= optimal business value. |

Only to say, enjoy your retirement.
I think the glorified Ron Dayne comment is pretty accurate at this stage in his career.

I think he'd cost more than we want to spend on a RB at this point. he pretty much is the same thing ron dayne is with much better feet I'll say that.
there's no reason he'd want to talk to us actually. i'd see him in pittsburgh honestly where they need to replace the bruiser back void that bettis left behind.

I'll pass on him. It seems like ever since he got out of jail he hasn't been able to hit the hole with speed. He just dances around in the back field and gets no yards.
At least Dayne gets through the hole. He may not get very far after, but he picks up positive yards. |

I say no. I want Cleveland to sign him. That'd be a another team not interested in AP...

I'd rather have Ron Dayne than Jamal Lewis. We don't need to pay money for someting we already have.
