Default Which of the new coaches has the best chance for success?

Who do you think will do the best job with their resepctive new gig? There are 6 new coaches with SD still to hire one. Who is going to succeed and who is going to fail?

Atlanta - is my choice. A very poor choice indeed, based on the track record of high profile college coaches, but my choice at this point.

Dolphins - once again have a problem at QB. Lemon and Cleo? The name says it all.

Steelers - have Super Bowl cap problems to deal with.

Raiders - might look like they are improving, but it took Gruden awhile to make his mark and Madden took over a decent club.

Cardinals - I am sick of getting tricked by this club. EVERY YEAR I kinda get suckered by all the rainbow makers and starry eyed cheerleaders. That dump has a serious curse on it. Bidwell must've cheated on an Italian witch.

Cowboys - 9-7 or 10-6 and Owens drops the game winning TD in the first round of the playoffs... so, no improvement.

Not so much who will succeed, but who better succeed is Phillips. He has to at least make the playoffs, and win a playoff game to better Parcells. Has the players to do it. The question is can he get certain players to play for Dallas and not for themselves.

My guess is whoever gets the San Diego job. That team has so much talent it's unbelievable. If not that person then Phillips. The Cowboys also are really talented.

Quietly i think Tomlin will succeed he seems like a Cowher kind of guy in the sense that you'll buy into his system and what he knows will work quickly. The steelers are still a talented team but do have cap problems. I wonder how Randle El feels about leaving such a good organization for Dan Synder's.... Circus. Nothing like trying to get all pro bowl players and big names without much reguard to team chemistry.

I think alos it's pretty well set that whomever lands the SD gig will havea situation like Barry Switzer had after JJ left the 'boys. Anyone can win with that team. Bet Eil feels a lil stupid right now for cryingabout going to SD.....have fun with Coughlin next year.

Whoever's in San Diego. Wade Phillips will be a pushover, allowing Jerry Jones to make too many decisions, and Tomlin doesn't appear to have the support of all the players. Many veteran Steelers felt Wisenhunt or Grimm should have gotten the job.
