Question A Jerk

I dont think anyone has really called him a jerk, just that he is inconsistant in catching the ball. Unless I missed a post somewhere.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The link to Starling's profile at nflfans.com reads as follows:

"He also possesses the attitude and off-field baggage of a Randy Moss but does not show as much potential on the field. He needs to answer a lot of questions from the scouts."

In my book, the attitude of Randy Moss qualifies (at a MINIMUM) as "jerk."

I just had to revive nearly the oldest thread in here....over two years since the last post!

It's an interesting look back at what boardmembers thought of an 'unknown' back then.

By all accounts, I've never heard of any attitude issues with Starling since we got him, and I've been pleased with his special teams performances when he's been on the active roster.

Predraft during the San Jose pro day back in 2004, Starling ran under 4.4 seconds for the 40 - with several teams reportedly clocking him under 4.35. That's after he had a solid combine in Indianapolis where he had the fastest shuttle of any receiver that worked out. Starling was also considered a very formidable kickoff returnman.......something that Kubiak is looking for in a WR.

We are going to need more gasoline and at least a dozen machetes to take down these zombie threads.

I never really look at the time of the OP, I just kinda read along, and I was like "hey, don't we already have a WR named Kendrick Starling. It's wierd that no one mentioned it. I guess the name is more common than I realize." I'm an idiot.

So what's new with ol' Kendrick. Do we think he will make the team or is it pretty much a long shot?

ya umm if i'm not mistaken, we have had Kendrick Starling in the past

he was on our roster (either the PS or active) the past two seasons...

he has contributed on special teams and is very fast

he has worn number 17 in the past

This thread is two years old. You quoted a post from 04-29-2004. Also, most of us can read the normal font.
