Default Kolb impressed scouts

...even though he had the shortest outing of QB's during the senior bowl.

Quote:
....Because of [Univ. of] Houston's unconventional offense, Kolb probably had more to prove to the NFL scouts than the other South quarterbacks Florida's Chris Leak and UTEP's Jordan Palmer.

"The biggest thing is that everybody wanted to see me in person and to see me run a pro-style offense," Kolb said. "They didn't have any questions about my physical ability. I was able to (run the offense) by day two and three. Feeling comfortable with it was the biggest thing, and once that happened, you could sense by the scouts' tone (that they were satisfied).

"Whenever I talked to them, they were like, 'All right. You are for real.' That's just what they wanted to see for themselves: that you did it and you can do it rather than them just wondering."....

I love this kid, im a homer and a big fan of the cougars! I dont think he will have cutler like rise, but i think he will be gone by the third round...If we can possibly trade downa few spots and pick up darrel revis cb - pitt; we could possibly get either a late 2nd rounder or third rounder and then we can trade our two third rounders for another second rounder or something like that. We could take revis first, then possibly a lineback or defensive end...and after that we could take kevin kolb...just my thought
