Or, you could just hit "Go Advanced when posting, click the "Insert Link" button, and type (more likely copy & paste) the url of the page you want to link in the pop-up window. Either or.

Oh, and it's not a typo in the thread title. Most of the nation really just doesn't think that Reggie being a robot affects our success. Who knew?

Yes he has. He's a great H-Back. He's a great football player. He hits the edge like Barry Sanders. Get over it.

bush wasnt superhuman but he definately had something to do with the Saints resurgance this year, just like Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Deuce McAllister, etc.

So this man goes into a bar and orders a drink. The bar has a robot bartender. The robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail, and then asks him, "What's your IQ?" The man replies "150" and the robot proceeds to make conversation about global warming factors, quantum physics and spirituality, biomimicry, environmental interconnectedness, string theory, nano-technology, and sexual proclivities.

The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool." He decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around, and comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the perfectly prepared drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"

The man responds, "about a 100." Immediately the robot starts talking, but this time, about football, NASCAR, baseball, supermodels, favorite fast foods, and guns.

Impressed now, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He heads out and returns, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "Er ahh, 50, I think." And the robot says... very slowly, "Soooooooo...............
how's CBS treatin you, Mr. Casserly?"

Confirming the definite impact of Bush on the Saints in comparison to Drew/Deuce/Payton requires a process that I don't think the Saints would be open to participating in.

Well he was overhyped and that is the media and the public fault.

Bush has some skills and in time will fit in nicely I think but guess only time will tell for sure.

Right now he has lots of help making him look good with the blocking that he is getting downfield on many of his runs, but I think it was Terry Bradshaw that said it best in the Philly game.

Bush will do good in this league when he learns to run north and south. He has to learn to wait for his holes and use his speed and timing to get into the open field. At this stage he is having occasional success with trying to get around the ends but that will only work a fraction of the time in the NFL.

So far he is making his bread and butter on the recieving out of the backfield.

Bush is in a great situation with the Saints, and as long as they can keep Deuce or someone as dangerous they should be just fine. He is the perfect utility player for them and has done what was asked of him. Cant fault the kid for that. It is mainly ESPNs fault that people thought he would be OJ, Dickerson, Brown, or Sanders in his rookie year.

Hey. Howdy TopTexanFan!

First I must apologize for the jovial responses you have recieved thus far on this tried, true, and tired topic. I say my friend, with conviction, that they act in good faith, spirit, and only to disperse the cloud of tedium that surrounds it. In this very same spirit... I recommed that you take a break and check out Gustave Le Bon and his lovely little book called, The Crowd; study of the popular mind.

You will like it.

I swear.

What's my name, Say my name. He is a good athlete, but he IS overrated. I can't remember who said it, but one of the announcers on ESPN said that he is a better fit where he's at because he wouldn't have been able to carry the load as the starting R.B. here in Houston. He gets a lot of credit for the few things he has done, but hardly nothing is mentioned when he screws up. Oh yeah, That Philly game Reggie Bush got JACKED UP!!
Yea, but then he picked himself up and made some plays. I think his size hurts him, but I think he has definate playmaking ability.

That's exactly the situation I want to avoid this draft. A few "knowledgeable" evaluators throw a few names out there (Peterson, Lynch, Brohm, Russell) and if the Texans don't pick one of those high profile names, then the draft becomes a bust to many people.

Go Texans!

True. BTW the Saints can get better this offseason. They are well below the cap, so they can be major players during FA. Mind you in a year or two they will be facing some very tough decisions cap wise.

Believe the hype? Do you realize that the defense has to account for him on every play? You can't let Reggie Bush get in space, he will make you miss. I don't "believe the hype" because I don't think he's overhyped. He is making a huge impact on the Saints success, just as Drew, Deuce, Marques, etc.

On EVERY SINGLE PLAY that Reggie Bush is in the game the defense must account for him. I think you're just in denial.
