I hope we take a serious look at Colt Brennan. If Kubiak likes him, then let’s draft him in the 2nd-4th round.

He is a very good player, second best qb in the draft, if he decides to hold through.

Brennan declared, but he may decide to stay his senior year anyway. I think he's still looking at his options.

He is not the secnod best QB. He got a boost when Brohm decided to stay, but he is still not top 3 or 4.

Today was the deadline so I believe his decision is final now. Undoubtedly Brohm staying in school helped impact Brennan's decision. I'm still not a particularly big fan of his, I would not consider drafting him before the 3rd round but with a relatively thin QB class I think he could end up being taken by then.

OK, I hadn't heard that part of it. If I were him I'd probably return to school as I don't think he's a 1st rounder, although I'm not sure how much his stock can really improve next year, hard to live up to the stats he put up this year. If Brohm had come out this year I'm pretty sure he would have stayed in school as he could have ended up being the top QB next year.

He will make his decision on Wed at 3:00pm. I would really hope Houston would get him if he comes out. He is really good. I watched him all this year and I am really impressed with him.

6'3" and 190? Who wants Ichabod Crane as their QB? I wouldn't touch him in the first two rounds myself.

I'd take him over Kolb. I like this guy alot and I think given time to grow before thrown into the spotlight he will be an above average NFL QB.

so since he is 190 pounds he is automatically Joe Montana? How many sub 200 pound QB's make it in the NFL on a regular basis? He may be a decent prospect but he comes from a system that produces guys like Klingler, Ware and Chang

Hey, I'm 190 myself and no one ever called me Mr. Montana.

I don't like Colt above the third. He will go higher because of his gaudy stats and the belief that he has not in fact lost of big 12 QB ability, and has not actually transformed into the WAC run-n-shoot QB that he actually is today.
