Drafting Ohio State
When we drafted Jonathan Wells from Ohio State, I remember there was a fair amount of camp that he missed even tough he already signed with us due to Ohio States graduation time or something and that there is a rule about rookies practicing before the graduation date or something or other.
A) can any of you remember what the details of that was and... B) Do you think it has an effect on the draft status on Troy Smith or any other draftee from Ohio State. |

Ohio State puts a lot of players into the pros, and many of them turn out to be good or great at the NFL level. That and the overall evaluation of the individual players on the field would override any graduation date concern, if there even is one.
