if could we trade down two or three spots we would be able tp pick up an extra third round draftt selection...DO YOU THINK THIS IS AT ALL POSSIBLE, IF SO, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE OUR DRAFT TURN OUT LIKE THIS...
1) LaRon Landry or Reggie Nelson (S) 2) Patrick Willis or Rufus Alexander (OLB) 3) Kevin Kolb (QB) 3) Aaron Ross (DB) 4) Darius Walker (RB) 5) Arron Sears (OL) 6) Jeremy Clark (DL) 7) Marcus Bacon (OLB/S) we must address the offensive line in the FA market...if we cant get clements, we MUST SIGN ERIC STEINBACH...he is a versatile lineman that can play any interior lineman position and maybe even tackle...

Darius Walker will most likely not declare for the draft, hes only a Junior and there would be no benefit for him declaring. Even if he did I wouldnt want him. Hes too inconsistant.

No, IF we got the All amereican safety with the move down I'd be Happy with that. Wills and Alexander both have a shot of being first round guys. But if you add Blades to the mix...the big MLB for Michigan, Conner for Penn St. , Dunbar for BC, there'll be some LB tallent at the top of the second for sure. You already know what I think of Kolb, won't go there again. Ross might slide just by the film on him. We need warm bodies at CB so to me it isn't a bad Pick. If it were me I'd look for a nice sized DT or take an OG prospect there ? Sears won't fall to five. Heyer of Maryland and the BYU guy Jake Kuresa, 6-4, 340, BYU, Might. I was hoping that one of the centers who falls would be at five myself. Lyle Sendlien, Casey Studard of Texas or Charles White of So Carolina. You stick the QB Jon Beck of BYU in where walker is....Or RB Wright of Fresno ST. or Lorenzo Booker there ? Don't know Clark or Baker. And again, the board is talking about cutting DC, we're at 10 to 13.5 million cap. maximum. And you gotta sign your guys and draft choices...they can afford one Top CB. Not a top CB and top gaurd. If you take the gaurd, you're talking about lowering expectations on the CB. I posted a list. Just what do you think the tallent drop is between Samuels and Clemments or Gay from the Pats ? My money they got to come away from the off season with the top CB. We can Live without a gaurd.

And the Butkus winner dropping to the 2nd? Oh I pray. Demeco in 2nd and Willis in 2nd....too good to be true.

I'm an Irish fan too, but in all honesty I don't like Walker, I'd rather them having played James Aldridge in time that counts.. the kid will be great.

listening to Smith yesterday on sports radio 610 it seems like the Texans will focus on staying where they pick and take the bpa. but I too would like a couple 3rd rd. picks maybe take a chance on a couple LT prospects just like last year but its probably not gonna happen
![]() I'm going to bet the Texans draft a LT in the latter rounds they like & would develop, then address this need in free agency & go after a 2nd tier player with some experience like Miami Dolphin UFA Damion McIntosh.

I agree we need O-line help. One FA, and one draft pick.
