The turf is a slippery, muddy mess. Players aren't able to make cuts and it's getting chewed up bad. The announcers have only mentioned the turf conditions 50 times and it's the middle of the second qtr. They keep saying the stadium is in downtown Houston. I guess inside the loop is downtown for some.
If they don't change out the trays between the hashes, the field will be terrible on Sunday. It's a good game despite the field conditions. 14-10 Rutgers - 5:00 left in the 1st half. Yes, the roof is closed and it's 64 degrees with no rain in the area. Last edited by aj.; 12-28-2006 at 08:23 PM. |

Can't get any sun in there this time of the year. The trays just stay wet when the sun angle is so low - even the spares in the parking lot.
edit: It was a good game. Rutgers is blowing them out now... 31-10 early in the 3rd/ Last edited by aj.; 12-28-2006 at 09:18 PM. |

How can I watch this game? I heard Time Warner was allowing NFL Network for this game only.
