Anyone could see he was going to be a monster. But the Texans said "We have The Fabulous David Carr!" Well, this is the pudding. In the pudding is the proof. Let's have mighty love now for all those who last year said dump Carr and draft Young. Let's have props upon props. Let's have the rest of you eating big helpings of crow. More crow. I wonder what Merril Hoge's excuse will be this week.

Yeah, Bud Adams couldn't have scripted that humiliation better himself. Most of my worst fears about choosing David over Vince have come true this season.

If the Titans win the Super Bowl with Vince in the coming years, then all of my worst fears will have been realized.

If I remember correctly he said before the draft that VY should only be in this league as a WR but also said he was too slow to run effectively as a QB.

Nighthawk, I'll admit that I was one of those that didn't think Young's game would translate to the NFL. I'm not a native Texan and while I did root for the Longhorns in the Championship game and I will root for them since I live here now I won't say I'm a diehard and I never really watched that many games. After watching today's game I can now say that whatever IT is, VY has it. He's a winner and he makes things happen. I was definitely wrong about what he can do.

Well I got my spoon out for ya big guy. But....I'd like to see the goods from your anoited one first. I see what I see. You wanna take your baby food from Kenny Hand John O'Riely , be my guest. Here's the deal, this player will not...ever...improve his passing game. Period. He is now at the pinicle of everything he is ever going to be. The league caught Vick...they'll catch the anointed one also. Just a matter of time. He is not a quarterback. Chow can't make him one. He's never going to be a quarterback. He is a very tallented athlete lined up as a quarterback. Chow won't be able to fix him. He is a very tallented....bust. And you ain't never, ever going to the big dance with the anoited one at QB. Just won't happen.

I wouldn't go as far to say that VY is a bust but his o-line IS alot better than the Texans .....................ALOT.

Vince Young's passing numbers would be much better if he had more competant receivers (coughAJcough). I think that the first play VY had in the NFL was a long bomb to Bennett, who promptly dropped the pass. It's been like that all year. If the Titans can pick up a more talented wide receiver, VY's passing game WILL improve.

And not watching him play is the only reasonable excuse for not thinking VY is among the very elite players of all time. But if you have watched him play for a while and you still can't see how special he is, then there is no hope for your ability to judge talent....

Elite player of all time after less than a full season. Oh ok, and I am sure after Vick's first season you thought the same thing or maybe you thought Reggie White was a bust after half of a season. Is it possible to let someone play for at least 3 years before you say they are God (Bush pre Draft) or a couple years to call them a bust.

I am sure your job as scouting director at william and mary's school of typing is producing all kinds of championships for them!!
