Former Texan LB Foreman signed by 49ers
San Francisco signed veteran free agent Jay Foreman, who has not played at all this season, to help address a linebacker corps weakened by injuries.

Guess who we waived to sign Foreman? Tony Parrish. Strange how a player can be elite at one point, but the past few games hasn't even be activated. (He was inactive for his play, not injury, although his injury last year could have something to do with his performance this year)

Foreman just left the game -- took pretty good a shot to the knee on a kickoff return. Looked pretty serious. Sprain is the initial report.
