I have come to the conclusion that the weakness of the offense isnt the deep passes, but the intermediate routes. The ball is never thrown in the intermediate. Its either a underneath stuff repeatedly with a deep ball mixed in.
I think this is the main reason our offense is struggling. |

Carr threw 3-4 ~15 yarders in the middle to day. AJ had one , Eric 2 and I think Putz had another one or two. One chuck deep, nothing caught. So, the intermediate tosses were there, probably not enough, but there were some. When your keeping 1-2 extra guys in to block, that means ony 2-3 guys can go out in the pattern and they will be covered by 5-6 guys. Not good odds for guys to get open, hence the short tosses. Dien't help when the running game gets a total of 15 yards.
