The purpose of this thread is to show how ridiculous the college system is. So let's have some fun with this. I will start.

If the season ended today who do we vote to play in the Super Bowl?

Colts vs. Bears a lock?

I don't know, Manning looked shakey against the Cowboys. Also the Colts strength of schedule is pretty weak since they are in a weak division. The Chargers on the other hand looked impressive on the road in Denver. How about the Ravens also at 8-2? This is just too complicated, let's just input all of the stats in the computer.

OK, the computer says Colts. Nice and Manning doesn't even have to worry about being a playoff choker anymore. Manning loves this new system.

NFC

Everyone agree on the Bears? They just beat the Giants at the Meadowlands so you have to go with them over the Giants. The Cowboys (Notre Dame of pro football) are going to get the votes just because of who they are. However, it is enough to bounce the Bears? Let's see what the computers say.

OK, despite getting votes they probably shouldn't have gotten because of who they are, the computer still opts for the Bears over the Cowboys. All said and done. This system CLEARLY works!

Hey, Bears fans are thrilled with this system because they don't have to worry about a Rex Grossman 8 turnover playoff meltdown. For them it's nice not having to play the games on the field.

So, now we will have to wait 4 or 5 weeks until the Super Bowl. What are we going to do until then? Oh, I got it, let's watch a bunch of meaningless games!

I can't wait for the Don't Sqeeze the Charmin' Mr. Wipple Toilet Bowl featuring the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Baltimore Ravens! The Cowboys have the edge in this one since this game is played in the stadium that looks like a toilet bowl, also known as their home stadium. This game will determine the 5th best team in the NFL so we have to wait on this one.

Until then we have some other beauties ...

Viagra "Keep it Up" Bowl (this bowl is for teams on the rise)
NY Jets vs New Orleans played in Tampa (winner of this game get's a year's supply of Viagra whoohoo!)

OK fans help me out here. You create the remaining Bowls ... (don't you just love the new NFL?)

I think the only driving force for the BCS is America IS the BCS. Powerful people, seems the contract gets extended out further every year.
