I htink todd graham has done a great job of turning this football team around... If they win this game against Tulsa(they're leading) they will only need to win on game to be bowl eligibble. When was the last time football and rice were associated?

I've gotta give Rice it's props. Todd Graham has done a great job w/ the program this year. Though on 11/25/06, Rice is going down. The Mustangs are gonna win.

Rice wins another thriller against ECU. they've won five in a row and are now bowl eligible for the first time since 2001. If they beat SMU they will surely get into a bowl game.... that will be the first time since 1961

This to me is going to be the best game on Saturday. I'll be there to watch my Mustangs beat the Owls. It should be a very competitive and close game. 35-31 SMU

I agree. Maybe in the next couple of years we'll hear more about such programs in the running for a Natl. Championship. The BCS system sucks. PLAYOFF, PLAYOFF, PLAYOFF!!!!

The Cougars are another bright spot for Houston football.

Graham has done a great job of turning Rice around. These are not the same old Owls.

RICE wins again. another thrilling game that went down to the wire... rice will finally go to a bowl game, first time since 1961! those were some great defensive plays by the rice defense... and to think if they had beaten UH they would be in the C-USA champiionship game. 6 game win streak !!

Owls could be headed to the Fort Worth Bowl to take on TCU. I would not want to be playing Rice right now.

Great Seaon for the Owls congrates. the guy said he was going to do it and he did it. Now the big question is....will their Einstien student body travel, or will stting in the stockyard stands be beneath them ? Inquiring minds want to know ? we'll see. There is a reason it's been forty-five years.

Dammit, Rice. Good game yesterday. Congratulations on a great turnaround season - all across the board. I wasmad yesterday, but I hope you guys play well in awhatever bowl game you go to. Hell, if you beat us, you'd better win that game. Once again, great game.

Cogratulations to the Owls. Just a bit of triva, this is the first time in history that the Rice Owls and the Houston Cougars will go to bowl game in the same year. Way to go to both programs.
