This team doesn't have a killer instinct....I think the Texans are way too SOFT.


We can't even close out a game if we are ahead. We had the chance to beat NY but they rallied in the 4th quarter...

We never acquired the killer instinct. We're trying to learn it. Our D needs to learn how to focus their excitement. A potential W means nothing. They need to learn not to get too excited until the final whistle blows.

They need to get tough, grow up, grow a pair, be calm and collected, get excited, get a killer instinct, don't overreact, mature, play old-school, lay the wood, light a fire under themselves, learn to win, be cocky, respect their elders, pray to mother Mary and....Michael Jackson, be respectful to women....and large ferocious dogs, stay off of drugs (unless they are performance enhancing), stay out of school (it's too late now), fight the system, the man, and the power, bite the bullet, squeeze the Charmin, learn to lead, be a good follower, don't let themselves get pushed around, be men....unless they are confused on the issue (which I would blame on Pendry), get mean, be nice, plant their feet firmly on the ground, fly high, stay dry, use strong deoderant, bathe daily, change their underwear, brush their teeth, smile for the cameras, stop playing with their hair, and stop being good losers.

As Mario and Demeco are rapidly becoming the engine that drives this team, the mentality of the team starts to take form. Next year has always been the year in my opinion and in two years we will hopefully have a new attitude on the offense as Kubiak's philosophy will take hold by players who can execute appropriately.

Nobody has a killer instinct when you lose. So it is no surprise that after 4.5 years of constantly losing, we do appear to be soft.

Give it some time, though. Richard Smith likes a hard-hitting, aggressive defense, but they have to learn to fight as a unit. It is slowly starting to take shape, and you can see it in the way they play the game the past couple of weeks.

I think Kubiak will go for the throat on offense, once he's got the confidence in them to make plays on a consistent basis. I do not believe he is one to get conservative once we have a lead, but will be a play caller that keeps do what works and keeps trying to put points on the board.

But we have to win the close games before a killer instinct becomes a part of this team.

DeMeco is the definetly the leader of our D, I hope Carr can evolve into a leader....

Does the offense even have a leader?

In my opinion it is Kubiak until he can find someone to take over. It is never a good thing to have the coach be the leader as when the ball is in play it is all up to the players.
