Default Pittsburgh vs. Houston

Here's some interesting facts:

Watching the Oakland game, I've noticed someinteresting things about Houston and Pittsburgh.

Both teams have extremely talented QBs who did not play well today. Houston benched theirs and started a very capable backup, Sage, who played well. Pittsburgh stuck with Big Ben, who has now thrown 4 INTs, despite having Batch (who has the highest QB rating in the league if you count his time).

Which is the better philosophy? Bench your starter and mess with his head, or stick it out and hope he plays through it? Is Carr the starter now or is Sage? Should Big Ben be starting?

Not benching Carr hasn't worked for almost 5 years so I would have to say what Kubes did today seems to be the better philosophy. Kubes said Carr will be starting next week. Great news if you are a Giants fan.

Well, if Carr almost died during the offseason, had an emergency appendectomy right before the regular season, and suffered a concussion last week, then you might have a point. But, he didn't, so ..... you don't.

What are you talking about? The fact that Big Ben has had all those problems lends even MORE credence to the fact that Cowher should not have played him, or should have benched him once they started to deterioriate

If the Texans would have won the Super Bowl last year then I might think differently.
