Stopping the run game will be very tough. It may be the only way to do so is to score enough to make it get abandoned.

Before the season began I thought this was gonna be a gimme. Now I wouldn't be at all surprised if Tennessee is favored at home. Young's getting the Titans fired up, and with the way Travis Henry is running they can hang with some pretty good teams (Colts). Not to mention their D is playing better. This should be a great rivalry between these two teams for a long time, seeing as the Titan's premier player is from our town. Should be very interesting, let's hope for a competitive game.

Thanks. October 29th and December 10th are the two days this year that I've been dreading most since the day after the Rose Bowl.
(Well, I didn't know the exact dates back in January, but you get the picture.) The Titans looked like a mess, but they have really started to click in recent weeks. And I'm hardly surprised.

Bongo...........I've always had a question for you............are the elipticals...............a sign of being highly medicated?
Wish I could go to that game. Should learn a bunch about both teams.

I think the Texans will have a harder time stopping the run than they will stopping Vince Young. VY isn't ready for the pros yet. It's good that he's in there now since the Titans are rebuilding, but I don't think he's going to do so well. I think our defense is starting to step up after today and now that we have Petey Faggins and Kailee Wong back we have some more depth and better players than we had previously. David Givens is going to wish he had signed with the Texans instead of the Titans. And most Texans fans will forget about drafting Vince Young. David Carr > Vince Young.

This was a good win today. It should give both the team and fans a little positive boost to believe that they can play a full game of football when they put their heads to it. I think we can beat the Titans if we capitalize on their mistakes while minimizing our own. That will probably be the biggest factor in the match between these two young teams.

I think next week David Carr Puts the skeptics to bed with a total thrashing of tennessee. I predict 350yrds. and 4 TD's for DC. He proves he is better than VY Texans 41 Tacks 20

Any thing can happen to this team. They get behind early they lose thier minds. TBS, VY will have a "big" day only if we get the flu bug this week and we're signing guys off the practice squad. I'm hoping for a lazy footed day from Vincent. Our guys were ball hawks today. He starts slingin' 'em high and right, gonna be a long day for ya Bongo. Wouldn't it be a hoot if Mario woke up this week and had his three sack game. As an insider tell us, How's 'Ol biscuit ? Is Lindale still MIA ? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think this game is going to be pretty interesting. I really wouldn't be surprised if VY does have a good game against us, as that offense is a lot different than the Jags. Also, you don't get better intangibles than VY, and he's going to be extra motivated to beat Houston on Sunday. I'm probably not giving enough credit to what our D did today (Leftwich was just terrible IMO), but it's going to be pretty interesting on Sunday.
But I expect our offense to make some plays on Sunay too. Hey, your D just isn't as good as the Jags, and that's all I gotta say about that. |

Being a Texans fan was finally fun again today. I'm looking forward to this week now. It's nice to know we have a heartbeat.
