Fred Taylor a Texan in 2007?
Pros: Unhappy in J-Ville, FA after season, career 4.5 ypc, still playing well.
Cons: Injury prone, 30 years old. He's clearly better than anything we've got. Worth considering. |

Well he's just a guy that could be productive for 1 or 2 more years instead of spending a first rounder. With Carr and AJ playing this well, tight ends that can catch, we have a chance to be decent next year if we can solidify the D.
Every season the dude has played more than 10 games, he's rushed for over 1200 yards. That's pretty good. He's on pace to do it again this year, he's a good receiver as well. Not saying we throw any money at him, but he'd be a nice bargain pickup. Last edited by Dr. Toro; 10-22-2006 at 02:56 PM. |

I do not want to see this happen. When seeking a permanent answer to our running game "low miles" and "durability" are two things I want to factor into the decision.
