Just seeing who you think will win. I think if the Aggies play like they did against Clemson, they can take it but I'll guess we will see. I can't wait for it, partly because I get to go.

i will be there as well! a&m's made more progress in 3 games than they did all last season. the defense started like this
against utah and by the time clemson came along looked like this . the communication in the secondary has increased to admirable levels, the linebackers look like their from "Linebacker U" and the d-line is actually showing push/pass rush! of course we have to worry about mr. sproles in his heisman campaign, and k-states d is always stingy, so they will definately test the aggs on both sides of the ball. in a&m's defense, we have courtney lewis back (the difference was undeniable against clemson) and reggie is looking like the leader/QB he was asked to be all last season. his vastly improved descion making + plus his freakin' gun = scary a&m offense. oh yeah, the o-line blocking helps a little too consistency is still a little lacking but i think the missing peice right now is terenece murphy, and when he gets in his groove things could get scary. hope that's not too convoluted, when i talk texans/a&m/cy-springs HS football i tend to rant so i will step down from my box of soap....oh yeah, im suprised im the first responed to this considering the importance of the game for both teams. i guess there's just alot more hook'em than gig'em on this board.......

I think the A&M fans are just waiting to see if it's more of the team improving or if they just beat a couple of really bad teams (Wyoming and Clemson) at home. And unfortunately, K-State won't be much of a measuring stick either. This is not the same team that won the Big 12 last year. They got destroyed at home by Fresno State. |

Where is this game going to be played? I think if it is in Manhattan, it is K-State's win. If it is in College Station, I think it is a dogfight and anyone can win it.

if the game is at kyle field that's the only reason a&m will win...you put this team on the road against k-state...they'll lose

O, I know Zach. He probally doesn't know me. I play on the sophmore team now. I play d end and right guard (its weird to watch me play guard cause im 6 foot like 175 so i look like a reciever not a lineman).

I misjudged the Aggies.
They are actually beginning to be what looks like a good football team. Clemson is no pushover and they murdered K-State who had an excellent team last year. The Aggies, I think, are on the way up. |

My preseason pick was the Aggies would be 6-5 and get blown out only 3 times.
They may exceed my expectations. They look tough at home. Keep in mind they still have to play Tech, Texas, and OU, among others. |

Yea true, they still have some real tough games. I wouldn't expect them to win any of them really but it looks like they're turning a corner and could be one of those teams that could spoil somebody else's season.
And their "13th man" advantage is awesome. They have great fans. And the BEST band in college..I went to UT for awhile but I love the War Hymn. Now if they could just do something about those goofy guy yell leaders! I never did hate A & M for some strange reason like most Horns do. |

I've never really seen a bad college band but to me the Aggies have by far the best.
Their marching is perfect; I love the military look and I like their fight song! I wish halftime programs showed the bands more like they use to but they'll never go back to that I guess. Back to topic...even though I went to UT for a short time I cheer for any state school when they play somebody else. When UT-Aggies play I'm for UT but I think Aggie fans are great. It's just a real family atmosphere at that school and for their graduates. |

Not all Longhorns hate the Aggies.
![]() I am a Longhorn first! Outside of that, I support any and all schools in the state of Texas and I also support all the schools of the Big 12 (except ou). To me, it makes the state look good when all our boys are winning. I also love to keep our recruits in state. Aggies have great traditions and their games are a blast to attend! I have been really lucky with all my experiences in College Station. Last year, we had a big tailgate up there (about 200 folks) and the ags were really cool about it. After the game, a bunch of them came over and joined us! FUN FUN FUN! Really the only bad experiences I have had at football games in Texas are at a UH game and a Tech game. Both times, someone spit on my back after we beat them and were walking out of the stadium. I understand that there are bad and classless fans everywhere though. To me, it is a game...it is fun...I love it....but it is still just a game!

Right! It's just a game and should always be fun.

My older brother was in the Core (sp?) at A&M so I went to games when I was in Junior High. I actually like their band.
I like it when A&M is the second best team in Texas and loses to the Horns. It is a better rivalry when they both are good. |
