The dream job of every sports fanatic is to be the general manager of their favorite sports club. What fan would not want to take a stab at being the architect of a dynasty?

The duties of a GM range from scouting top college prospects to bringing in the hottest free agents on the market. Sounds like a piece of cake, but in actuality the job of an NFL GM is enough work to make any average man purchase Tylenol in wholesale quantities.

On top of being the media scapegoat when things are going wrong, they usually don’t see much spotlight when things couldn’t be better for their respective teams. So, to break that mold I have composed a list of the top ten active general managers whom I feel deserve just as much credit as anyone else within their organization. So, without any further adieu here’s my list:

But Jerry Jones is the only one dumb enough, and egotistical enough, to actually try it.
