The most lousy tackling display is the first 4 games. Even in the win against the fins, it was down right nasty.

If it was me, I'd do tackling drill for 2 weeks.

The lack of sound fundamentals is definitely a troubling aspect of Richard Smith's coaching philosophy. Sloppy play is inexcusable, and indicates that they are not paying attention to details, IMO.

dont get too wooried about it..im seeing loads of bad tackling in the eagles- 'boys game- 2 supposed 'good' defensive teams

Add the Redskins to that list. They were awful today as well.

you could add alot more- there is alot of bad tackling in the nfl

Just because other teams do not tackle well does not make it ok for our team to not tackle well.

Im wondering if defensive coaches at the college and NFL level have just gone away from fundamental tackling all together. I've noticed a declining trend of solid fundamental tackling over the years.

Why Cant The Texans Tackle? Because they caught the P-Burnt Virus, hey even D-Rob, who has spent alot of time with him, cant get the Job Done

never said it was ok...just said it wasnt a problem exclusive to the texans

Bad angle = Out of control = Over run the play = Arm tackle = Falls down silly = Tries to grab ankles = Complains to the ref (rest of team)/ Cries to momma (Dunta)

I know there is bad tackling in the league, but I must say they are at least SEMI FORMED - Missed tackles. They way we miss tackles is just pathetic sometimes.

There's a reason these guys could tackle before.
