Mike Flanagan. He has the most experience and has had a nice career. Chester Pitts would be 2nd, but I think eventually Charles Spencer will become our best O-lineman. Not this year, but in 2 or 3 years I think Spencer will be a dominant LT.

Remeber when we had that 1st & Goal at the 7 yard line?? We handed the ball to Morency(I think) and he got dropped in the backfield for a loss of a couple or something like that??

Did you happen to see a guy take flanagan off his feet, and throw him about 4 yards back, allowing another guy to come into this "new" whole, and drop our runner??

All day, Flanagan was having trouble keeping linebackers off our runners...... all night.

Same with Spencer, same with Pitts.

Based on the one game, Wiegart was probably our best OLman, followed closely by Weary, then there is a huge gap trying to find the third best.

Pitts is the best. Spencer is reminding me of Brad Hopkins, kinda a no name but became a very solid 10 year starter at LT

Have I been living under a rock or did Winston fall off the face of earth? I am not saying he is our best lineman, that obviously goes to Flanagan, but why mention Salaam and Hodgdon but not Winston?

Because Winston has done nothing yet. He was horrible at the Senior Bowl and that is why he went from a 1st round pick to a 3rd. Perhaps in the future he will be something.

Isn't it sad that 2 past their prime guys are considered our best O linemen. Casserly/Capers really did us no favors. Pitts is an average OG at best. He works better in space.

Weary does not have a big enough body of work.

McKinney is now a backup, enough said. (finally)

Spencer is a rookie, with a huge upside. His worse case is he is a starting guard, his best case, As someone else said Hopkins.

This last draft was the first light in the tunnel, we will have a good line in a year or two.

in terms of consistency and durability, i say pitts. he has played every snap in the 5 yrs of the teams existance, and in his career.

It's kind of hard to say at this point because there has been only one game and, realistically, it was pretty sad. I am hoping that over the next three-to-four games that we will better be able to say who is the best offensive lineman.

Winston, Hodgdon, and Salaam - Can't say anything because I'd have to see them play this year in a non-preseason format.

Weary and McKinney - Rotating out of the same position, so hard to tell. Part of interior crumbling interior line.

Flanagan - Despite being a Pro-Bowler once, he was also part of a bad interior line.

Weigert - JMO, but Weigert looks to be on his last legs. I don't expect him to be back next year. In the meantime, the Texans usually run right, and they couldn't. Definitely need to see some improvement here.

Pitts - I'm pretty neutral here, so he's probably the one I would say is our best lineman after one game of bad trench-playing.

Spencer - I was not impressed, but rarely does a rookie come out in their first game and look awesome. On the other hand, I need to remember that he is the starting left tackle and should be treated like one. Other rookies (Demeco) looked real good in their first game. Spencer made mistakes, gave up penalties, and had poor pass protection.
