Good Game
I know how disappointing it can be to lose, but you guys have a lot to build on. After settling down, Carr looked really good. 23/34 for 313 yards and a TD2 +1 int.
I've called it that the Lions are an opportunistic defense that loves causing turnovers, and if the Texans wouldn't take care of the ball they'd be taken advantage of. So it turned out to be the same as last week. Texans turned over the ball, Detroit took advantage of turnovers. From a matchup standpoint, I had Detroit over Texans. With the injuries here in Detroit, I saw a slight advantage to Houston. But, I put a lot of stock into Homefield advantage. If we played in Houston, I say you guys win, but it was in Detroit. Detroit wins. If you guys can get DD to secure the ball. You will be in a lot of games. Also, I think KC is in for a long season. They had a poor offseason, maybe downgraded their oline. Actually, No. The Texans fans completely ignored me at the bar. Except the couple girls behind me, but that was fun
 . They were UT fans so my RW jersey went along way, especially since he had 2 TD's.

Nice. The color Honolulu Blue does that to the ladies I guess. I guess you chose right buying the Roy jersey.
I've been pondering getting either a Roy jersey or a KJ jersey. I've been waiting to see who's doing better, and at this point as good as KJ is getting, it's all Roy right now. |
