To all Texans fans..
Half the teams in the NFL will be 0-1 after this week. I am a big Dolphin fan and I have been sick after our opening loss to Pittsburgh on Thurs. nite. We had all the cards stacked against us..playing at Pitt in front of an emotional fired up crowd and an inspired world champion team. That said..we were up deep in the 4th quarter and had them pinned against their own end zone. Then we fell apart and lost the game. Daunte Culpepper said something that made me feel better after the game..... he said that it's only one game and the Dolphins just need to get better each week. It is important to make progress every week. The Dolphins were 3-7 at one point last season and ended up 9-7. We closed with a 6 game win streak. So looking on the bright side, we have won 6 of last 7. Now we need to come out and play to win next week. Overall I think we played fairly well against Pittsburgh. Again...1/2 of the entire NFL will be 0-1 after week 1. Even the Broncos lost their first game last year and ended up deep in the playoffs. So I just want to say that it's best to stay positive for now. Don't judge your team on one game. Keep your eyes on the big picture. Look for your team to improve week in and week out. One game does not a season make. You have 15 left. The teams that finish strong generally fare best going into the post season. That said...you do need 10 wins to get in...sometimes 11. Shake it off and let's look forward to next week. Let's watch the film and see what we can do to get better. Let's tweak the game plan a bit. |

Yeah, Im not worried, but I do see us losing our fist 4 games. We lost to a good team and a few bright spots are starting to show up. First year with kubiak, just have to be patient on all sides of the ball.

I agree, week one is over now we need to figure out how in the hell we can get a pass rush on Manning? Maybe the Eagles are really that good of a team.

Regarding Carr...and Mario versus Reggie, I am reminded of a great quote from Howard Cossell...
"What's right isn't always popular,and what's popular isn't always right" |

I'm freakin pissed about today, but ya got a point. Its 1 game.
However I saw them at times looking like the 'old' Texans which scares me. Plus they got a difficult schedule. Man I hope Kubiak rips every one of their @sses today and they learn from this loss!

Who cares if the draft was 5 months ago? this was the 1st regular season game, the first meaningful game, so this is when the Bush Vs. Williams stuff actually makes sense

Bush plays for NO, get over it. If you can't, find the number for StubHub and get you some Saints tickets. It's not that far to NO.
