I don't know a thing about Carswell, but if the Texans were interested I would think he would have been contacted already.

Kubiak, as a first year head coach, does seem to have a comfort level with ex broncos around.

Understandable to me.

Jeez the Broncos are becoming Costco for the Texans.

didn't he get in a near fatal car accident last year? If he has healed from that I say we take a look at him, he has been in the denver system for like a decade.

Its funny how obvious what we are doing here is. Trust me I'm loving every second of it. I mean soon the Broncos will be the ones wanting our released players. Still we have to thank them in advance for half their players and coaches.

If he is brought in who do you think he replaces? It says he is a guard so it's either Pitts or McKinney. Do you think he is brought in as a backup?

It's the Shanahan Mafia.

Shanahan
Kubiak
Rick Smith
Mike Sherman
Kyle Shanahan
Flanagan
Putzier
Dayne

The NFL should look into this.

He has an very interesting background.......Pro Bowl TE, reciever, STs, OL........he seems to have been a significant "force" with the Broncs all the way up to the time of his accident last October. If he could pick up where he left off, even with his age, he might be a good pickup.

Better the old Knicks players then the current ones. Over paid and underwhelming.

I think Carswell can take the place of Bruener. From what I understand he is a good run blocker but has caught many a TD pass over his career.

Former Denver tight end and offensive lineman Dwayne Carswell was not signed by Houston after his workout Monday. Carswell, cut by Denver on Sept. 2, will work out for the New York Giants today.
