Hey thats a good idea because he's almost perfect in preseason. He might be our Kurt Warner.

I think I would be pretty annoyed if I were Cody Pickett. We traded for the guy and now it looks like we won't give him much game time to win a spot. I'm not too worried about it from the Texans standpoint because Porter and Rosevfels seem to be very capable backups, but it still sucks for Pickett. At least if he got some snaps he could get something on film for other teams to look at.

I'm not fond of having an undrafted rookie being our backup to David Carr. I like Rosenfels as the backup. I'm fine with Porter as the 3rd stringer, but if Porter is actually seeing significant playing time this season, it means that we're in trouble.

I think that we should take a better look at Porter this preaseason to see what he has maybe put him in like 3rd and 4th quarter or half of 3rd to the 4th I mean he looks pretty good so far.. couldnt hurt to give him a look-see..

Pickett will get plenty on film in the fourth preseason game. Guys like him will play a bunch. During that fourth game everybody we're going to keep will sit down and take off their pads right after they run out of the big inflatable football helmet.

O/T....This thread reminds me......why do we alays have our 3rd preseason game on the road? We always get the crappy, meaningless 4th game at home. For once, I want the 3rd game at home.

Yes Quinton does look great, I hope he makes the team, true athlete, and great person as well, he was very nice to both my girls at training camp...
