Chiefs vs Giants on FOX - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

Maybe we can get a basic judgement of our progress by how well the Chiefs play against the Giants. It won't be a huge help but it might give us at least some idea where we are as a team.

Good opening defensive series for the Giants ... looked like a sick hold on Turley's part though.

The Giants are going to be a really tough game this year.

Chiefs look like dog doo - on both sides of the ball. Herm is going to start hearing it more and more every week ... preaseason does matter in his case.

Loving this. Giants looking strong (they are my 2nd favorite team). I am really impressed with Eli's game. He looks like he might be bouncing back from that terrible ending of a season last year. The Giants still need some work in the secondary though.

On the down side to this, the Chiefs look pretty aweful which is making our game against them not look as good. I think the Chiefs are in for a long season. With some teams you can tell early if they are going to struggle. I realized the Texans were in trouble around the 3rd game of the preseason last year.

The Chiefs are pretty stacked defensively, personnel wise ... makes their soft butter coverage to this point that much worse a reality.

Wait, maybe I've given him too much credit for his performance against the Texans.
