Too many threads about fire this guy , bench this guy..
What is the key to winning on the road for the Texans (or any NFL team)? Offensively. get a lead early to quiet the crowd Run the ball effectively Keep the QB out of 3rd and longs and improve your 3rd down effeciency. No Turnovers Defensively Stop the run Create turnovers Pressure the QB We do that we win the ball game. We didn't do that last weekend. some on other threads need to give S.D. props and quit whinning because that is what they did to us.. Marty S.. good job. Texans we got our work cut out for us.. Lets get focused on this weeks game.

Staying at Home. No that didn't work! Just kidding! Not that the Lions know alot about winning on the road, but here are my keys!
Score early and often. Limit turnovers (Most Important) Limit Penalties Run the Ball Stop the Ball Win The Time of Possession Battle Get some Luck Take the Crowd out of it Keep your composure

Keep the crowd out of the game, every thing else is an underscore to this.
Wether that be controlling to clock, limiting big plays for the opposing offense and a good consistant run game. All of that will keep the crowd out of it and limit confusion and penalties and ultimatly turnovers. |
