Just thinking to myself since Warren Moon is being inducted in the HOF this weekend. Should the Texans Honor Warren since he did play in the City of Houston? I think it would be very cool if the Texans honored Moon in some way. What does everyone think?

Now that I am done starting at your avatar, no I do not think the Texans should honor him. This is a new team that Moon had no part of, only thing in common here is the city of Houston. Not saying he doesn't deserve recognition or that I hate him because I loved watching the guy play and grew up watching him play, but if anyone should honor him it should be Bud Adams and the tacks...

Yeah well I'm sure He feels the same way. Getting escorted off your home feild because of racist death threats left an indelible mark for Moon towards Houston. ...and her fans. I.E. the feeling is probably mutual big guy.

I'd love to see him honored...I grew up watching his Oilers and whether you like it or not, he is a part of HOUSTON football history.

Sure Houston football history, but not Houston Texan's football history, he was an Oiler, never a Texan, if the city wants to honor him that is fine by me.

Hmmm, would I invite my ex-wife over to kick me in the *****. Horrible analogy but releases some of the same emotions for myself. As many others did, I grew up watching that team that packed her bags and moved to the music highway. Maybe in some situations there’s a clean break up, the ex comes over and cooks you dinner, dusts and mops, or whatever is nice. But most splits are hostile and just too awkward to even talk about. And even though I like my ex-wife’s sister, a lot, I won’t talk to her either. I’d rather kick it with my girlfriend and just let the past go.

Sorry about that, ummm… yea for me it’s just too awkward even though Warren deserves his upcoming induction. I mean he deserves to be honored but not by the Texans. The TEN. team maybe, but not the Texans.

Can I park my bike in your trunk?

But if Bob McNair wants to bring him back with all the other old Oilers players like they did a couple years ago for that reunion weekend or whatever it was called, I wouldn't mind that. There's just no need for the Texans to specifically acknowledge his HOF.

Remember our owner was an Oilers season ticket holder from the get-go and he has the same feelings for some of these players as a lot of us old timers do.

Warren does color for the Seahawks radio now so he's kind of busy during the season.
