Well at one time KPRC was, quite possibly the best station in the country. Owned by the Culp family, they had a line up of Ron Stone, Doug Johnson, and Ron Franklin. Sentator Kaye Bailey Hutchenson was...a reporter. Now the only testosterone is Bill Baleza. Khembral, for some mysterious reason has been religated to weekend duty. Which means he's on his way out. This station floats on a sea of estrogen. Long way from what it once was. Thus...soccermom station. KHOU, Malcome X. KTRH....bleed it so we can lead it.

When you just "see" pictures like that over the internet, you think WTF? But my wife saw this picture in person and said it's infinitely more interesting in person. There's a 3-dimensionality to the painting because of the way the paint layers and builds up that you can't see in a picture like this. The same is true of artists like Van Gogh. A picture of the painting just doesn't do it justice.

I haven't seen any Pollock's in person but I have seen some Van Goghs and they do look much better and more interesting in person.

Unfortunately, since I haven't lived in Houston in almost 20 years, I have no idea what this Sachse person looks like or who she is. The pictures of her that I found on the internet didn't look so bad.

Watch Ch 2 at 5am and see what we stole from Jacksonville...(Lauren Freeman, you guys will like her too). The Jags board was peevered when they found out their 'hottie' newsperson is in Texansland now too. LOL!!

I dunno about that soccer mom reference, seems to be plenty of testosterone on there. All the Mets and Sports is male, except that random woman who shows up every blue moon or so to pinch hit a sports cast late at night and on weekends, can't remember her name, but she is....um...not dainty.

Some of the other news station's personalities make my arteries harden at the sight of the octagenarians (sp?) on camera. I get a bit concerned that Marvin Z won't make it through the newscast sometimes!
