I seem to remember seeing Wells around the ball quite a bit on special teams, but he's gone. I know Evans is a good special teamer. Who else will be good in coverage and do we have anyone who can block kicks? I hear Walter is good. Any thoughts?
I really wish training camp would start so we could have things to talk about.

I would think if Babin wins the starting spot on the D-line, Peek would be utilized on ST. He used to be one bad dude on special teams. Although losing his starting spot (if he does) might defuse him. Let's hope not.

IMO, Rivers was our best special teams player last season. He was always around the ball.
This season, I'm going with McKenzie as our best special teams guy. |

Moran Norris and Jonathan Wells were pretty solid on both kickoff coverage and returns, as was Marcellus Rivers, but they are all gone. As for this year, there are a ton of LBs on our roster right now that will all probably see some time if they aren't starting on defense, along with a good number of DBs, TEs, and WRs. It just depends on who makes the final roster and who among those won't be getting significant playing time or maybe even some regulars on offense and defense. Too early to tell.

I think Owen Daniels said he plans on making an impact on ST. Don't heckle me if I'm wrong though.

No heckling, you're correct according to Tex Trenches interview with him. http://www.houstontexans.com/fan_zon...ad.php?t=24368
