How about that Payne !!!!!
It was super to see Seth Payne stop the run up the middle & what a better way to start off his 1st game back with a run stop up the middle on the 1st play...........
doesnt look like that knee is slowing him down any, i saw a few times he made some hard cuts......................... Let's get this season started........ |

He's got such a great initial push...he almost always moves the front of the pocket back a few yards on passing plays, and on the run plays he pretty much shuts down any idea that a RB might go straight up the middle. He's a tremendous cog in this defense, and will make both Walker and Smith MUCH better.

If he can come back and be the force he was in 02, that will put the defense back on track. He makes them all better. Just to see all of the first string on the field for the first time this year will be great.
