Not that big of a need and doesn't appear to be really that much of an upgrade and looks to be WAY to expensive for a SS. I would pass.

I think we are fine at the S position. Coleman,Brown, McCree, Lord, Earl. More than adequate.

right i think capers and casserly are both expecting earl to make a run at the starting ss position next year and probably get it...he'll be all healed up and ready to be one of the more feared safeties in the NFL...lord's progress really doesn't make a difference in this decision for us...the only reason our name keeps getting thrown in here about darius is that him and capers are good friends and last year if the jags hadn't placed a franchise tag on him capers would have been pushing to get him...with the db's we have we'll be in good shape for a few years

Give up on Darius...we don't need him and he wouldn't help us enough to go after him. If Casserly wanted him he would have gone after him before he drafted a bunch of young guys to fill the need at the safety position. Darius would only be worth it if he had started in a Pro Bowl or two.
