Cool Reggie Bush the next Barry Sanders?

You know how the media is comparing Reggie Bush to Barry Sanders? In my opinion he's NOT the next Barry Sanders. He's going to be similar to Marcus Allen, but faster in the open field. But not as good at breaking tackles.

Below you'll notice that Sanders finished with 15,000+ rushing yards to Allen's 12,000+ rushing yards. But take note of Allen's receiving yards and touchdowns to Sanders...

Allen's receving yrds 5411 > Sander's receiving yards 2921
Allen's total TDs 144 > Sander's total TDs 109

Reggie Bush is more in the mold of Allen, IMO.

Sanders would have probably finished with 2500 more yards if he had stayed 3-4 more years. But nevertheless. I never liked his "juke" style. He was too one dimensional (too much evasion, and not enough power skills).

I'll buy that. Although, Deangelo to me is less like Sanders and more like Garrison Hearst. He's has more power. Although, I do like his moves. He's not as dependent on the "juke" as Sanders was.

Tell me how you can even compare Reggie to Barry when he has yet to touch the football in a pro game. Quit using Barry, in comparision, till he has a chance to be close to his numbers.

It wasn't I that comapring Bush to Sanders. It was *others* in the media. I was comparing Bush to Macus Allen. Although, Gail Sayers is a good comparison too.

So, my post was stated in order to REFUTE the Bush = Sanders comparisons. Even Detroit Lion fans disagree with the comparison. Although, they are a little touchy when anyone compares any RB to Sanders.
