I think Davis will hold up pretty well this season, after all we should have a passing game to take some load off. And I also think Kubiak will split carries between two RB's.
And the Chronicle seems pretty bad, don't ever read it being here in the Austin area but at least I am not missing very much. I was fortunate enought to see Justice on Rome is Burning yesterday, bashing our team's every move, what a tool this guy is.

You had a greater chance of reading up on UT's swim team than you did of seeing anything on the Rangers, Mavs, Rockets or Astros. Heck when the Oilers were in Houston you had almost as much of a chance of reading up on the Saints as you did the Oilers. Pathetic coverage for a city with no teams. Heck I could read more on the Cowboys in the Houston paper than I could in the Statesman. All that said, I still think the Chronicle has gone down hill ever since the Post went under. The competition made both of them better. Wouldn't it be nice to have another paper here?

But that is why I found this board, and why I frequent this board because you guys are the only Houston Texan fans I can find, we are few and far between around here. This is really the only place I can talk about the Texans in depth. There are a lot educated and well informed fans here that help me keep up with the team.

They just started giving Txstate a 30 second segment on tv for football this last season. If we write enough emails complaining will anything change as far as the chronicle goes?

Megan Manfull is the same person comparing Dom Davis to Earl Campbell last pre-season. I stopped reading her stuff at that point. She's a noob sportswriter.

maybe someone with better research abilities can help me out, what exactly were DD's injuries?
bruised thigh sore ribs sprained ankle fluid in the knee am i missing anything? is it just me or is that a fairly weak list to call someone "injury prone"? granted, they were probably severe enough for him to be justified sitting out a game, but i highly doubt any of the mentioned injuries would stop DD if we were in the midst of a playoff run. barring a broken bone or anything being torn, i'm calling 1500+ yards this season.
