Rumors are circulating that the Arlington Cowboys are going to permit the city
of Dallas to compete with the city of Oxnard as the site of the teams 2005 summer training camp. The primary argument for Dallas is its close proximity to
palyers' residences. Oxnard, on the other hand, is more scenic, more entertaining, more interesting, and more culturally diverse. Plus you can have a beer with your meal in local restaurants without being required to join a club.

Uh, let's see! Stadium initiative dead, but they want the team to bake in 110 degree weather so that "they" can be close to home? Hopefully they will choose 70 degree temperatures, oceanside, mountains and a chance to practice in an area with their West Coast fans.

I think Jerry has already said he'll bring the team back to CA for camp next year.

Jones already said for sure Dallas will be training in Oxnard. According to writers, staff, and the players the weather is extremely nice and cool.

Where did you find these "rumors" anyway? Or are you trying again to make Dallas look bad but fail miserably? BTW, you really know your NFL, we dont even know if Dallas will build a stadium in Arlington.

Why would Jones move to LA if he's planning to build a brand new million dollar stadium in Arlington?

Smoke and mirrors. When the new stadium issue is defeated jerruh has a built in excuse to move, and the rubber stamp owners will agree. Look at the bright side, you can move to LA LA land too. I hear the weather is nice there.

Prison labor reduces the costs. They already have enough of the teammates growing 'grass', so that can be used for the turf. Aikman can probably get a deal on ACME bricks.....yeah, I think it can be done for a million.

With the Cowboys moving to Arlington, a new rumor is now in circulation (reportedly from the same source as the origional rumor), that the city is
planning on getting DFW airport renamed to Arlington/Fort Worth airport, or
AFW. As they correctly point out, not one sq. inch of the airport is in the
city of Dallas anyway and with the Cowboys moving to Arlington, well ........
