Default Would you go?

Bud Adams dropped this little bomb on Nashville TV ................................

Did anyone else catch that little blurb by Bud? I heard it on Ch.2's 6PM news. VY said it would be sweet if the Titans did that. I think it was just an off the cuff remark by Bud - had to be wishful thinking since those dates are sown up - but it was still scary

Let us hear your thoughts.................

I guessed the riddle:

Austin American Spaceman link

Quote:
A Titans game in Austin?
Owner Adams, new QB Young love the idea.
Monday, May 01, 2006

SUGAR LAND Vince Young may not be playing many NFL games in Texas other than the divisional game in Houston, but the owner who drafted him wouldn't mind putting him on exhibit in Austin.

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams, the former owner of the Houston Oilers, drafted the Longhorn quarterback with the third pick in the first round on Saturday and said the Titans could play an exhibition game at Royal-Memorial Stadium when asked about the possibility.

I would tell Bud Adams to kiss my ***, but I would likely die of some sort of disease.

Im not surprised .. I think Adams picked young just so he could continue to steal fans from Texas. Talent was probably an afterthought in his draft process.

The queen of searching, her Googleness, does wonder again.

Pfft... let Bud play the Horns and see who wins that one for a little exhibition game. How bout this Bud-a-roo... play that exhibition game in California and then see how giddy you are.

By the way - heard on 610 a replay from Hudson and Harrigan (country dj) skit. Quality. Gotta hear it, but it was something like this:

H+H - this is Hudson and Harrigan
Bud on phone - helloooo, this is Bud
H+H - hey Bud, congrats on getting Young.
Bud - heh heh heh
H+H - yeah the fans in Houston were really cheering when you pick him up, you weren't trying to get back at the Texans were you?
Bud - heh heh, who me? Noooo, I wouldn't do that.
H+H - so Bud, you do know that you're gonna have to pay him like $40 million plus
Bud (sounds of gagging, coughing then the phone hangs up)

McClain liked it and was gonna play it up in Titanland as well.

Considering that I wouldn't have to drive very far, I guess I'd go, but I'd be wearing a Steel Blue #90 jersey.

I hate Butt Adams.
