Anyone here the Mario Williams 610 am interview? - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

I heard a little bit of it this morning. The thing that stuck out most to me is that he said him and Weaver will move inside on passing downs. I guess that is to make room for Peek, Babin, and Kulu (a combination of the 2 of course).

What are you people's thoughts on this?

Sounds like we will have a lot of speed on passing downs. Great for us!!!

The idea of Mario, Babin, Peek, and Weaver rushing on 3rd downs has got to have the Defensive Coaches frothing at the mouth.

I believe PBuc is EXTREMELY happy that he wont have to miss tackles as much this year!!!

After giving it alot of thought. When the Texans said he made the same impact on defense that Bush did to offense, it's kind of true because he can play all four positions and you don't really find other lineman that can do that.

I see our team being more fresh in the 4th quarter. We never had any real depth on defense and we got alot of it this weekend.

He moved to DT on third and long in college also. QBs will have to get rid of the ball a LOT quicker this year I think.
